Ideally candidates have knowledge of workers compensation rules and regulations as well as healthcare and insurance experience.
_ Full-Time Opportunity! Monday - Friday (8:30am-5pm, 9am-5:30pm, or 10am-6:30pm) _
_ Previous WC Authorizations experience is preferred - for Workers Comp Role _
_ Previous insurance and authorization experience REQUIRED - MRI Injection Authorization Role _
_ Workers Compensation Responsibilities Include: _Reviewing past due accounts and related documentation.Contacting patients, guarantors, and or third-party payers to secure payments and provide resolution of assigned accounts.Reviewing and follow-up on workers comp denials and delays.Appealing incorrect denials and incorrect payments.Responding to carrier verification requests in a timely manner.Tracking and reporting all account information.Adheres to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
_ Candidate Attributes: _Problem Solving Skills: You have a strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems.Organizational skills: You have exceptional organizational, prioritization and time management skills that will aid in account follow-up.
_ Required experience and Qualifications: _High School Diploma or equivalent GED.Minimum of one year medical billing/collections or insurance/workers comp experience required.Knowledge of workers compensation rules and laws.Excellent oral, written, computer and customer service skills.
_ MRI Injection Authorization Representative _
Obtain authorizations for MRI Injections.
_ Candidate responsibilities include: _
Initiates request for MRI Injection Authorization from commercial carriers.
Updates and records authorization related information in our system.
Perform clinical reviews of authorization requests.
Provides accurate and complete documentation to approve MRI Injections requests.
Collaborate with applicable staff to coordinate patient care.
Adheres to all HIPAA guidelines and regulation.

_ Required experience and Qualifications: _
High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

Prior Authorization experience preferred
