Today, CEB continues to provide California attorneys with world-class information and guidance through an innovative operating model that combines cross-functional expertise of our staff attorneys, technologists, and expert contributors.Position SummaryReporting to the Content Development Director, the Content Group Manager is responsible for the development and production of content in all formats and shaping the annual strategic business plan for this content in collaboration with the Manager, Product Strategy, Innovation and R & D teams. The position is responsible for ensuring quality and overall profitability of content products and finding ways to repurpose/repackage existing content. The Content Group Manager is responsible for management of numerous staff within their group who create legal content, reviewing staff performance and providing performance feedback, and continually reviewing processes for possible streamlining and improvement. The Content Group Manager also works with the Go to Market team and the Product Line Managers to maximize sales, keep current on new trends and developments in the legal market, stay aware of changes in technology and collaborate with the Manager, Product Strategy, Innovation and R & D, to understand what customers say/think about CEB's products and how they are being used. This position also creates and manages schedules, curriculum, and budgets for the assigned Content Group.Salary & Compensation*UCLA provides a full pay range. (Preferred)Learning Experience and knowledge in effectively developing and presenting legal content in online formats, including knowledge of principles and techniques of adult learning theory. (Preferred)Ability to prioritize and delegate work to ensure completion of multiple assignments and adherence to deadlines. (Required)Excellent project management skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize a large number of complex projects simultaneously in a deadline and budget-sensitive environment and solve problems effectively. (Required)Strong team building and leadership skills, including enthusiasm, ambition, flexibility, can do attitude, and ability to embrace and lead change.
