Job Description:

Baltimore City Community College's Business & Technology Department is seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator who can provide instruction in courses such as: Foundations and Strategy of Marketing, Marketing Content Strategy and Branding, Social Media Marketing, Search and Display Advertising, and other related topics. This is a 12-month position with administrative responsibilities, including developing and revising curriculum, managing course and program assessment of student learning outcomes, and participating in service to the college and the school (i.e., meetings, committee membership, activities, and events). The successful applicant will teach 9 credit hours per semester to a diverse population of learners and through various teaching modalities, face-to-face, virtual, and/or online (day or evening); maintain scheduled office hours; play a critical role in building the Marketing program; and work collaboratively with other faculty and staff. Strong leadership and collaboration skills are strongly recommended for this position.Responsibilities/Duties:

Contribute to the college's mission and goals through effective teaching and instruction in Digital Marketing coursesStay up-to-date with developments in the various fields and disciplines within MarketingCoordinate with Associate Deans to prepare program course schedules and prepare required reports to ensure compliance with college requirements and accrediting agenciesReview enrollment data regularly to plan strategies for retention and recruitment of students in the programCollaborate with appropriate student affairs office to facilitate workshops with students and colleagues on transfer and scholarship opportunitiesDevelop a functional advisory board. Committee should meet at least once a yearContribute to student success by advising students from initial enrollment through graduationRequired Qualifications:

Master's degree in Marketing or related field with at least 18 graduate credits hours of Marketing coursework from a regionally accredited college or universityFive years or more of experience as a full-time instructor, preferably with community college experience, teaching face-to-face, online, hybrid and/or blended learningExperience with Canvas or another learning management system (LMS)Preferred Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Marketing or related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours of Marketing coursework from a regionally accredited college or universityFive years administrative experienceExperience with dual enrollment programs and teaching advanced adolescent studentsCommitment to working with underrepresented populationsDigital Marketing professional and teaching experienceAcademically qualified per ACBSP standards in the field of Marketing
