Position Overview:

The Brand Communications Specialist, a key member of the Content and Communications team, will collaborate with various departments to develop and disseminate communications that reinforce the brand. This role will be instrumental in conveying the organization's story to both internal and external audiences through a variety of channels, including reports, publications, web content, emails, social media, and videos.

This position is located on-site in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities:

- Write, edit, and project-manage communications materials that align with the brand narrative.

- Develop and advise on communications collateral for internal stakeholders, such as development/M&A, marketing, and HR.

- Identify compelling stories and themes from across the enterprise that exemplify the organization's culture and values.

- Proofread communications content to ensure consistency, adherence to style and messaging guidelines, and factual accuracy.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, along with 5 or more years of experience in communications, content strategy, or a related area.

- Proficiency in AP style.

- Experience working with brand style guides and adapting tone and voice to suit various audiences and messages.

- Strong writing skills and editorial proficiency, with the ability to communicate in clear, accessible language.

- Versatility in adapting writing style for different mediums, including print, digital, event scripting, and video.

- Understanding of how communication tactics contribute to broader brand strategies.

- Preferred background or prior experience in a healthcare-related field, with familiarity in clinically focused content, medical terminology, conditions, and service lines.

- Self-motivated and deadline-oriented.
