UI Engineer Intern
W2 Contract, 3 Months, Possible Conversion to FTE

We are an online gaming studio looking for a UI Engineer Intern to develop and maintain the user interface for one of our hottest online games. The ideal candidate enjoys and is familiar with MMOs and has a strong interest in interface development or has created add-ons for an existing MMO. This position will actively engineer UI screens for various aspects of the game.
Responsibilities•Write high quality, maintainable code in support of task requirements•Undertake training and follow mentoring as specified by the development team•Collaborate with other engineers and UX designers for feature development focused on UI
Qualifications•Current student majoring in Computer Science, recent graduate in Computer Science, or equivalent experience•Available for a full-time internship for a 3-month period•Effective written and verbal communication skills•Motivated and organized, with strong attention to detail•Understanding of Lua and C++•Love for games and game development•Exposure to designing user interfaces, either through course work or independently
