Marketing Manager, First Hire (EdTech)

One of our portfolio companies (Series A) is building a social, project-based learning platform for employee upskilling and reskilling. To foster their team's growth, they are looking to hire their first Marketing Manager, someone who leans more on the content marketing and growth side. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to establish and lay the foundation for the company. From positioning, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications. You will report directly to their CEO and Co-Founder and you’ll work with other members of company leadership, engineering, and design. Previous experience, working at an early stage startup, where you've been through the customer journey is highly preferred.

Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant experience in content marketing and growth.A background in SaaS.Experience with PLG and PLS, and enough understanding of the two to know when to focus on impact to the business, not business jargon or trends.Great writing skills, good taste, and the skills to execute a vision, no matter the cross-functional players involved or the tactic.A focus on getting it right, not being right.
