Tools Associate Producer

Location: Redmond, WaDuration: 18 monthsPay Range: $30/hr - $35/hr

We are currently looking for an experienced Producer to join our diverse team, working with a wide range of both internal and external partners.

As the

Tools Associate Producer , you will partner with the Tools Producer to define and build the internal tooling that our content teams use to build gameplay experiences, tracks, cars, suits, helmets, and the tooling our internal teams use to manage our player base. You'll have the opportunity to engage with a cross-disciplinary team of creators to gather requirements for what they need to deliver high quality game content on time and at quality.

You'll be responsible for executing in partnership with the lead producer or leading directly, our day-to-day software development lifecycle rituals (i.e. scrum rituals) such sprint planning, backlog refinement, bug triage, daily standup, sprint kick-off and sprint close rituals. All with the goal of ensuring the team sets achievable sprint by sprint goals and enabling the development team to execute.

You will also partner with the lead producer to break down features into work items, then coordinate deliverables across multiple teams, ushering them towards successful delivery.

Responsibilities:

Partner with the lead producer on Quarterly Milestone Planning, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement and Bug Triage rituals.Lead Sprint Kick-off, daily standups, Sprint Close, Demo and Retrospective Rituals.Work with development teams to usher deliverables through various stages of development, ensuring commitments are met on time and to the highest possible quality.Partner with the team to define user stories and describe clear acceptance criteria for features and tasks.Enter, track, and communicate project capacity and velocity. Tracking and mitigating dependencies and risks.Facilitate collaborative and effective communication between team members. Ensuring awareness of schedules and progress through all phases of development.

Qualifications:

2-3 Years of demonstrated experience in Agile-based, Kanban and/or Waterfall software development or game production methodologies, with a proven ability to collaborate with engineers to achieve production plans.At least 1 year experience working with Quality Assurance engineers/teams defining testing plans for new features and bugs.Worked within an org that shipped at least one game title in a production role supporting a AAA / Console based game or similar consumer based software experience.Knowledge of the game development lifecycle, from concept to production to continuous development and live management.Project Management Tools/software experience, ADO and Confluence preferred.Experience creating processes and driving results with internal & remote teams.2-3+ year of experience as a producer with a track record of exceptional performance.Capable of balancing a projects production requirements within budget and staff limitations while ensuring high production values are never compromised.Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be a master at conflict resolution.Keen attention to detail and strong analytical mind and problem-solving capabilities.Passion for making the best games in the world.
