About The OpportunityWe are looking for someone with a software development background in critical RTOS based products and applications. This position involves turning customer requirements into innovative, security conscious, software solutions. As a key contributor in a small cross-functional team, you must have the proven ability to architect, design, document, and troubleshoot robust software solutions to meet defined requirements. The opportunity exists to use your creative talent to research and develop new solutions that will support overall customer objectives.

**Successful candidate must be a United States citizen holding a current Top Secret Clearance with full scope polygraph. This is an onsite role so candidate must be located within a commutable distance to our Thornton, CO office.**

Required areas of design, debugging, and troubleshooting expertise include:• Embedded CPUs or Digital Signal Processors running in an RTOS environment.• Ethernet interfaces (10/100/1000Base-TX, etc).• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.• Demonstrable familiarity with:o C, C++ with exposure to multi-threading, object-oriented programmingo Linux/Embedded Linuxo Scripting expertise ( ie bash, python, shell etc ).o VoIPo Version control systems such as GIT

What can you bring?• Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.• Ability to effectively communicate complex, technical findings through documentation.• Programming experience for general data communication over Ethernet and IP networks (e.g., w/sockets) is a plus, as is any experience programming in a Linux or VxWorks system.• A background in developing products in telecommunications is highly desirable.• Three or more years at the Engineer Three level, or more than 8 years total experience.• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.• Top Secret/SCI clearance
