is seeking a strong ideator and self-starter to join our Marketing team as a

Social Media Marketing Manager

to lead the future of luxury hospitality.

As Social Media Marketing Manager, you will be tasked with creating and delivering a range of creative digital work. In this role, you will be responsible for proposing and implementing social marketing strategies to promote revenue growth and generation in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Has a true passion for social media, photography and videography

Has experience in luxury marketing; a strong understanding of travel, spa, F&B and retail industries is a plus

Is a highly creative individual who prides themselves on their storytelling abilities and excellent communication skills

Is an all-rounder who thinks about social strategically, is organized and comes to the table with fresh ideas they’re able to execute from start to finish

Is interested in an active role within the larger marketing team and process, representing the voice of Fairmont Scottsdale Princess while also providing as-needed, ad-hoc marketing communications support as needed

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Marketing Planning, Strategy & Reporting**

Conceptualize and manage execution of content and social strategy across all touchpoints and platforms, owning key organic social programs end-to-end, including strategy, content development, creative execution, publishing, testing, and reporting

Develop strategic plans and content calendars to leverage organic social channels (including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn) by partnering with stakeholders and teams across the company

Develop a deep understanding of Fairmont Scottsdale’s guests, their challenges and opportunities, and develop clever ideas for highly engaging content within the brand tone and voice

Drive forward high-quality social media initiatives in a fast-paced environment

Deliver monthly analytics reports to Marketing Director and present monthly to internal stakeholders

Content Creation

Ability to weave together luxury brand storytelling through creative concepts

Ability to shoot photos and videos with an understanding of artistic and professional best practices and can edit photos/videos into social media reels, stories, etc.

Provide strategic, high-quality video and photography of on-property moments for materials used in social media, marketing collateral and editorial content that communicate the spirit of the resort

Create magnetic feeds with content that educates, entertains, and deeply resonates with our diverse audience, to grow our following across channels and keep them coming back

Regularly engage with our audience through thoughtful, impactful, relationship-driven community management

Identify and arrange strategic partnerships and influencer collaborations that align to the hotel’s positioning

Qualifications:Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience

2-4+ years of proven marketing expertise, including: exposure to and familiarity with marketing principles and channels; social media, website, and email

Strong oral and written communication skills, including copywriting, editing, and proofreading

Knowledge of general best practices and trends of social media for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc.

Strong photography and videography shooting skills with a basic knowledge of lighting and best practices

Photo and video editing experience for social media

Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail

Solid understanding of social media tools and analytics platforms

Highly organized with an ability to prioritize, and manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously in a time sensitive environment with numerous internal stakeholders

A passion for brand and community building, demonstrated through your ability to connect authentically with guests

Strong critical and creative thinking to drive effective results; strong eye for design

Strong analytical skills and ability to utilize data to make informed decisions

Proactive, self-motivated, results-oriented, and ability to maintain a self-directed schedule

Professional, courteous, cooperative, and positive in interactions with colleagues, partners, stakeholders, and others

Collaborative individual who works with multiple internal and external partners to achieve mutual goals and deliver results in a timely manner

Strong knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office, Adobe and more
