Key Position Responsibilities

Maintain strong and collaborative relationships with the local and national Marketing team members, Regional Managers, Division Managers, market leads, and corporate resources.Manage marketing coordinators (as applicable), strategically assign resources, and ensure proposals are fully compliant while meeting or exceeding expectations in quality and creativity.Participate in and support client relationship and pursuit planning including the go/no-go process, as appropriate; serve as the Marketing voice in terms of ability to pursue and win the opportunity from an experience and capability perspective.Develop supporting information and strategy for pursuits, including providing intelligence on clients, competitors and Swinerton's potential differentiators.Lead the pursuit process including, but not limited to, statements of qualification, proposals, and client interviews/presentations either directly or by oversight and assistance of your assigned marketing team members - includes project/proposal management, writing, editing, design, layout, and production.Coach pursuit teams on presentation/interview phase, including material development and organization of rehearsals.Establish and maintain strong quality control processes for all pursuits you manage; lead color review meetings to ensure continuous improvement and maintain high expectations.Manage and mentor marketing staff with an emphasis on their continued growth and development.Participate in external client debriefs; capture and share information and develop lessons learned.Providing peer review to other new project pursuits to ensure high quality and compliance.Participate in pursuit training (as required) for pursuit team members (i.e., operations, technical, and support staff).Accountability for and commitment to all Regional/Divisional Cosential data across all opportunity stages to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data; working with Regional/Divisional leadership to ensure this occurs consistently.Accountability for and commitment to compliance with all national/corporate initiatives to promote maximum consistency and efficiency and elevate our work product across the organization; support the development and maintenance of best practices for process, content, templates, etc.Supporting national pursuits as e member of Swinerton's One Proposal Team, as necessary.Assist the Regional Marketing Director in the assigning of new project pursuits to coordinators and maintaining a balanced workload for the staff.Assist the Regional Marketing Director with performance evaluations of the team.Training and Mentoring Marketing Coordinators and Assistants/Associates.Objectives or Goals to Measure Performance

Possess and maintain a strong level of business literacy about Swinerton's total operating model, strategic initiatives, differentiators, financial position, and culture.Advanced knowledge of best practices in marketing and sales disciplines, including business development, marketing research, opportunity evaluation, capture planning, pursuit strategy, and proposal development.Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges; offer new ideas.Professional judgment and discretion.Strong team building and leadership capabilities.Commitment to mentorship, growth, and development.Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple competing priorities.Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholdersAbility to work both independently and collaboratively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; content development/storytelling.High-level understanding of construction, architecture and/or engineering industry.Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesProficient with Cosential or equal Customer Relationship Management software.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.Minimum of five (5) years of experience related to marketing, communications, and proposal/pursuit management.Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a team/people management role.Ability and willingness to travel.
