Title: Advertising Sales Representative
Location: Houston, TX

90-100K + uncapped commissions
Five years of traditional Advertising/Media Sales Experience REQUIRED
A Media Advertising Company is looking for someone to sell radio and digital advertising to small, medium, and large companies in the Houston area. Their State-of-The-Art advertising process has helped businesses of all shapes and sizes target new customers to generate superior results.
Responsibilities:
Providing support for clients by
learning about and satisfying their needs.
Making cold calls or reaching out
to prospects.
Following up with prospects
several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met.
Presenting and demonstrating the
value of products and services to prospective buyers.
Compiling and analyzing data to
find trends.
Developing sales strategies.
Staying current on company
offerings and industry trends.
Maintaining a database of contact
information.
Handling complaints and
negotiations.
Qualifications
5-15 years of experience in
advertising B2B sales REQUIRED, small to mid-sized accounts preferred
Documented sales success
Knowledge and understanding of
the advertising industry in the Houston area
The drive and energy to manage
multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities
Excellent presentation, verbal
and written communication skills
Ability to understand client
needs and handle the negotiation process
Strong time management skills
Computer skills, especially MS
Office and CRM software
Reliable Transportation and Valid
Drivers License
Able to travel in the local
territory 85% of the time
Ability to pass a background
check and drug testing
