The following items detail how you will be successful in this role.Development: Develops solutions using standards and best practices of the applications language.
Writes code that implements the design that is testable, extensible, efficient and maintainable.Impact Analysis: Understand the rationale behind and how changes impact the enterprise and/or applications and across the technical ecosystem.Solution Design: Ability to translate high level requirements to create and implement designs that meet the needs of the customer, are technically sound, maintainable and cost effective. Ability to identify missing or ambiguous requirements. Ability to design at both high and low levels of abstraction, understand complex requirements and translate into understandable solutions. Ability to accurately estimate based on requirements.Technical Domain: Have an understanding of the technical domain, including the application architecture, design and data of the application they support and systems to which it interfaces.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field of study; or equivalent work experienceMinimum 2 years of software engineering experience or comparable depth of experienceExperience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including proficiency with the latest versions and standards.Experience with one or more front-end frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, including proficiency in building and integrating components, managing state, and handling events.Experience with one or more back-end web development frameworks, such as Node.js, or Spring, including proficiency in building and integrating APIs, working with databases, and deploying to production environments.Experience with JUnit testing frameworks, such as Jest or Mocha or any other frameworkUse of one or more object-oriented programming languages and design patternsPractical experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Agile/SCRUM and WaterfallWillingness to participate in an on-call rotationPreferred:Advanced understanding of IDEs and have the ability to navigate through them quickly.In-depth understanding of application programming interfaces (API) and frameworks in their particular field: JSON, Rest/SOAP based Web Services, JUnit, Jenkins and Bitbucket preferredExperience in API security, analytics, throttling, caching, logging, request and response modificationsExperience in creating REST API documentation using Swagger or similar tools desirableAbility to use DDL to create database objects and relationships and construct advanced queriesFinancial services industry experienceKnowledge and Skills:Show initiative and offer assistance when neededBe introspective and open to feedback to continuously improve. $129,000 - $178,000.
