We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented
Technical Writer
to join our team in Salt Lake City.
As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation for our industrial overhead cranes. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams, including engineers, designers, and subject matter experts, to gather information and translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content.
Responsibilities:Create and maintain accurate and comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and troubleshooting guides, for our industrial overhead cranes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure the accuracy and completeness of technical content.Translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language suitable for a diverse audience, including crane operators, maintenance personnel, and engineers.Organize and structure technical information effectively to enhance usability and accessibility.Ensure consistency and adherence to established style guidelines and documentation standards.Review and edit existing technical documentation for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to industrial overhead cranes.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field.Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the industrial equipment or transportation industry.Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.Proficiency in using documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems.Familiarity with engineering and technical concepts related to industrial industry or overhead cranes is a plus.Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.American Equipment Holdings is an organization of leading overhead crane and hoist, industrial weighing, and below-the-hook service providers in the United States.
