Job Overview
The Content Manager is a mix of three key elements: strong writing skills, project management capability, and problem-solving/critical thinking. Though you won’t work often on day-to-day content projects, you harbor the experience and skill to train new team members how to write for our brands quickly, accurately, and effectively. In addition to writing content, you’ll manage a department that de facto becomes a go-to source for anything related to managing knowledge or written content—that ranges from knowing how to “dumb down” complex product info, how to speak accurately about a product feature, or even how to craft a sensitive letter to a customer.
The ability to shift gears quickly, roll with the punches, and constructively navigate problems is a must. At the end of the day, success is striking the right balance of producing quality writing work—which takes time—in as little time as possible.
