$60/hourGlobal media, technology, and commerce company is currently seeking a junior media and entertainment-focused attorney to join on a contract basis. Reporting to the Senior Corporate Counsel, you'll support the company's legal department in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various types of media/entertainment contracts as well as more standard commercial agreements, including sponsorship agreements, talent agreements, influencer agreements, custom content agreements, co-branded content, co-promotion, website marketing agreements, confidentiality agreements, NDAs, MSAs, licensing agreements, and more. Additionally, you'll dive into various advertising regulation, IP, and data privacy matters.While this position is mostly a remote one, we highly prefer someone local to the New York City/Brooklyn area for potential on-site meetings and local events. This is a full-time contract (~35-40 hours per week) and is expected to last through the end of August, with potential to extend.Qualifications:J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with practice to license in good standing in the State of New York.2-4 years of experience working with media and entertainment clientele, either in a law firm and/or in-house at another media and entertainment company or organization.Knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including advertising, copyright, privacy, and technology.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Knowledge of Salesforce, Smartsheets, Juro, Jira.Strong and effective written and oral communication skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with team members, upper management, and clients.Quick study and self-starter.Excellent time management and organization skills to handle negotiation and execution of multiple company initiatives.Analytical and problem-solving skills for create solutions to complex issues.Pride Global offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
