The Senior Vice President, Brand & Marketing is responsible for managing and overseeing the vision, strategy, and direction of the Brand and Marketing team which develops Teach For America's brand identity, steers its creative execution, and promotes the brand through integrated marketing campaigns that support our organization in reaching its goals.
The Senior Vice President, Brand & Marketing manages a team of approximately 25 individuals working on sub-teams including those focused on brand strategy, content, creative & design, digital marketing, social media, and operations. The team works to ensure that Teach For America's brand strength is improving, and that we are delivering powerful marketing campaigns that engage our stakeholders in ways that are grounded in data and insights and deliver on the goals of internal business units. The Senior Vice President, Brand & Marketing reports directly to the Executive Vice President, External Affairs and serves as a member of External Affairs Leadership Team and TFA's Senior Leadership Team.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Craft Category-Defining Marketing Strategies : 40%Develop data-driven marketing plans encompassing all channels (brand, category, creative, social media, digital).Set measurable goals, KPIs, and learning plans to track progress and optimize future campaigns.Partner with all internal teams at Teach For America to understand their business goals and create results-driven strategies rooted in their audience opportunities and challengesDrive Brand Growth and Awareness:

Lead the end-to-end execution of brand marketing plans and campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels.Champion TFA's brand story and ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints.Identify and develop strategic partnerships that strengthen brand equity and loyalty.Internal brand alignment: Engage and align internal stakeholders, including team members and executives with the brand strategy and valuesOptimize Performance and Empower Your Team:

Oversee the marketing budget and ensure efficient resource allocation for maximum ROI.Conduct thorough market research to understand audience insights, market trends, and competitive landscapeAnalyze audience research, internal data, and campaign performance for actionable insights.Foster a high-performing team environment by mapping developmental roles and providing coaching for continued growth.Stay current on industry trends and identify new marketing techniques and technologies to leveragePartner with external agencies to help build awareness in new and existing marketsCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goalsWork closely with the External Affairs Leadership Team to ensure seamless integration of the overall team strategy and delivery of External Affairs goals for Teach For AmericaAgile Teamwork:

The Senior Vice President, Brand and Marketing (SVP) might start the week by leading a planning session with the Growth Marketing team to refine upcoming campaigns and assess current campaign performance. The SVP may attend a meeting with brand strategists and content creators to align strategies with goals and discuss new initiatives. Throughout the week, the SVP, Brand and Marketing may review marketing materials and ensure that all brand messaging is consistent and impactful. By the end of the week, the SVP might analyze campaign data, adjusting strategies based on performance metrics. Balancing strategic oversight with hands-on involvement, the SVP plays a crucial role in shaping and driving the organization's brand and marketing efforts.

The applicable salary range for each U.S.-based role is based on where the employee works and is aligned to one of 3 tiers according to a cost of labor index in that geographic area. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role. The expected salary ranges for this role are set forth below. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Tier A: 159,400 - 221,800Tier B: 173,700 - 241,700Tier C: 188,100 - 261,700
