Stephens College invites applications for part-time (adjunct) instructors for our Communication Design program, specifically for the course:

COMD 110 Design Technology

This is an introductory course open to students from all majors, covering the fundamentals of Adobe Creative Cloud software, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dimension, and After Effects.

The course is 3 credit hours and scheduled on our new block system, where courses meet daily for 3.5 weeks, approximately 3 hours per day. COMD 110 is scheduled for Block 2 (Sept. 22 – Oct. 15).

Requirements

• M.A., MFA, or PhD in Graphic Design or related field.
• Expertise in design software and web applications.
• Strong commitment to undergraduate education.
• Portfolio demonstrating technical proficiency.
• Previous collegiate teaching experience is preferred.
