Applied Research Solutions is seeking candidates for the role of a Principal Data Links & Communication Engineer located at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA. The Aerial Networks Division (AFLCMC/HNA) acquires, fields, and sustains networks, information systems, enterprise services, and applications to support the Global Information Grid (GIG). These systems facilitate communication across land, naval, air, and space forces, developing capabilities for voice, video, and data networks to support joint and coalition warfighters worldwide.

Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in software design and requirements development
- Proficiency in C++ and Java programming languages and frameworks
- Experience with MBSE modeling, languages, and tools (DODAF, SysML, UML, Cameo)
- Networking and embedded mission systems experience
- Knowledge of government acquisition planning, documentation, and processes
- Experience with development, integration, testing, and deployment of Air Force systems and data links, including interoperability, interfaces, and verification/testing
- Experience with developmental and operational testing at subsystem and system levels
- Ability to advise on performance, schedule, and cost issues related to planning, communications, and control

Qualifications/Technical Experience
- Must be a US citizen
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
