Job Description
The Onsite Community Manager manages all administrative, maintenance, and project activities to ensure the community's betterment. They serve as the liaison among homeowners, the Board of Directors, Committee Members, management staff, and vendors.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Implement Board policies and directives within the management agreement scope, and collaborate on strategic initiatives and projects.
- Inspect the property regularly to ensure proper maintenance and compliance with HOA rules.
- Issue violation notices and follow up on resolutions.
- Engage with homeowners, residents, Board members, vendors, and contractors.
- Respond to inquiries via in-person, phone, and email channels.
- Update and maintain data records and documentation.
- Create and manage budgets, review financial reports, and interpret financial statements.
- Manage vendor relationships, solicit bids, and oversee capital projects.
- Prioritize and coordinate maintenance work orders and vendor activities.
- Prepare board meeting packages and coordinate meetings.
- Communicate community updates and events through mail and email.
- Assist homeowners with architectural review submissions and follow-ups.
- Perform other assigned projects.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of community association management experience, including condominium management.
- Understanding of the roles of the Board of Directors and General Manager.
- Preferred certifications: CMCA, AMS, or PCAM, or willingness to obtain them (company-paid).
- Customer service orientation and teamwork skills with a consultative approach.
- Financial literacy, including interpreting financial statements and reports.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects effectively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with conflict resolution abilities.
