The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 300 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide AV Support for our casino environments including:
- PC imaging, deployment, and maintenance
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance of critical infrastructure
- Printer and peripheral configuration, deployment, and maintenance
- Teams video conferencing support
- Coordinates solutions with IT and other departments and implement long term fixes as necessary
- Work with escalating incidents to vendors on various software and hardware problems
- Able to observe, predict, and communicate hardware ordering needs to purchasing lead on a regular basis
- Works well with the Project Team and is available as a project resource, as needed
- Completes a detailed report of work and observations and submits weekly to management and team members
- Monitor systems to ensure compliance with Company and Governmental policies
- Provide written documentation of all duties
- Responsible for installation of audio visual hardware for end users. Assists in the installation of advanced audio visual hardware and software under the direction of the AV Management
- Performs routine tasks like room setups or other operational tasks as defined
- Performs preventative maintenance on audio visual hardware
- Test, evaluate, and install audio visual equipment
- Troubleshoots basic hardware and software problems for end users
- Provides basic training on hardware and software use
- Facilitates assistance from hardware and software vendors when necessary
- Setup and maintain cabaret stage entertainment and other special events
- Devices documentation for all end user hardware and software with regard to installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, licensing, configuration, and network connectivity
- Prepares progressive reports for all work performed
- Pull and terminate low voltage cable
- Assist in projects/events—setup/breakdown, sound and lighting
- Work untraditional hours that will vary based on events
Skills, Education and Other Requirements
- Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration
- 1-2 years’ experience in a high paced environment
- Familiar with audio visual concepts
- Experience with audio, video, control systems and like technology
- Experience in systems integration
- Familiar with networking concepts like TCP/IP
- Familiar with personal computers, servers, and like technology
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to continually use ladders
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
