Posting Description:
The Audio Visual Project Coordinator supports the AV Project Managers with day-to-day tasks, specifically the tech refresh of upgrading conference rooms with Cisco Quad cameras and Navigators. Tasks include scheduling site walks at any client building within Santa Clara Valley using eApproval for badge access, security guard requests (SOR), coordinating with client approved audio visual vendors for scopes, tracking and requesting Cisco hardware in support of the tech
refresh and updating Quip documents showing current status for leadership.
Main tasks and responsibilities include:
Coordinate site access for scope walks and installs.
Work with client approved audio visual vendors for quotes and POs.
Work with client users on expectations of the tech refresh and answer any questions they may have on the new technology being added to their space.
Maintain current information both in the form of Excel and Quip for project status.
Ensure that AV vendor has completed deliverables as specified in the tech refresh requirements.
Take ownership of AV issues, engages appropriate technology, operations, and vendor resources, and drives towards resolution.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of construction projects.
Experienced in using a variety of online tools (Quip, Slack, Wrike, Excel, Webex, etc.) to keep leadership aware of project status.
Experience in managing AV installations at both new construction sites and upgrading/modernizing existing rooms.
Knowledge of AV components including cameras, codecs, switchers, projectors, control systems, amplifiers and speakers.
Experience in the deployment of integrated videoconferencing systems in corporate environments.
Ideal candidate holds or is working toward a CTS, CTS-D or CTS-I certification(s).
Minimum 4 plus years experience.
Comfortable working in a completely Mac environment.
