Job Description
Boston College Athletics is seeking a Creative Content Producer Football, responsible for dynamic digital content for the Boston College Football program. Reports to the Assistant Athletics Director, Marketing & Fan Engagement. This role involves planning, coordinating, shooting, editing, and analyzing the impact of original content for BC football across social media platforms and team support. Key responsibilities include developing creative strategies, storyboarding, capturing, editing content, and supporting recruiting efforts. The role also provides content for Boston Colleges athletics website and BC Football social media channels, including highlights, graphic design, photography, and media programming.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Video Content Creation: Film and edit videos such as highlights, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and promotional content.
- Video and Photography: Capture live-action footage and photos during games and events, supporting social media and marketing needs.
- Event Coverage: Document team-related events, including community outreach and fan interactions, through photos and videos.
- Post-Production Editing: Edit multimedia content for social media, websites, and marketing materials, ensuring timely delivery.
- Creative Collaboration: Work with marketing and social media teams to create engaging content aligned with branding goals.
- Fan Engagement: Capture candid fan moments for digital campaigns to enhance engagement.
- Player Profiles & Features: Develop videos and photos highlighting players personalities and routines.
- B-Roll & Archival Footage: Maintain a library of B-roll and high-quality photos for future projects.
- Equipment Management: Assist with setup, maintenance, and organization of photography and video equipment during events.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in video production, journalism, public relations, communications, sports management, or related field.
- Experience in EFP/remote sports production, including equipment setup.
- Experience working in college athletics or professional sports, especially football, in video or communications roles.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DSLR and Cinema cameras, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Knowledge of lighting and set design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, work independently and in teams, and handle long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment.
