Enterprise Risk Technology (ERT) within Functions Technology (FT) provides solutions and support to the senior risk management team overseeing firm-wide enterprise risk & control across multiple categories. This role is a senior-level position as the UI engineering lead within enterprise risk management technology. It involves leading a global team of UI/UX engineers and collaborating with architects to build enterprise solutions and portals with robust design, patterns, and architecture that are innovative, consistent with firm standards, and best practices.
The role requires collaboration with the central UX team, ERM product managers/owners, and business stakeholders involved in research, mockups, requirements, and scope. The candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in enterprise application development, particularly in building web applications using advanced AngularJS and React tools. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage extensive experience in executing enterprise-level projects, driving innovation in design and development to deliver robust solutions.
- Lead the design and development of solutions in collaboration with architecture and stakeholders, ensuring quality and adherence to SDLC policies (Agile).
- Engage with stakeholders to define business processes, scope, and operational requirements.
- Manage multiple teams, overseeing personnel duties and ensuring best practices.
- Develop long-term strategies to meet business and regulatory objectives systematically.
- Present project updates, risks, issues, and remediation plans to senior management.
- Work with SMEs to address architecture requirements and provide analyses for complex issues.
- Manage product lifecycle from design to performance monitoring, ensuring compliance with global standards.
- Oversee vendor onboarding, management, and exit strategies.
- Manage departmental budgets, forecast, and personnel actions.
- Create an environment conducive to SME success and effective delivery.
- Utilize deep understanding of Citi's technology integration and competitor offerings.
- Make evaluative judgments based on comprehensive information analysis.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10+ years of UI development experience, with 5+ years leading cross-functional Angular teams.
- Deep knowledge of application design, JavaScript, Angular, micro frontends, and performance optimization.
- Experience managing successful projects and team leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Exposure to NX is a plus. Ability to adapt priorities quickly.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
