Enterprise Risk Technology (ERT) within Functions Technology (FT) provides solutions and support to the senior risk management team, overseeing firm-wide enterprise risk & control across multiple categories. This role is a senior-level position as the Engineering UI lead within Enterprise Risk Management technology. The role will lead a global team of UI/UX engineers and collaborate with architects in building enterprise solutions and portals with robust design, patterns, and architecture that are innovative, consistent with firm standards, and best practices. This role requires collaboration with the central UX team, ERM product managers/owners, and business stakeholders managing research, mockups, requirements, and program scope. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in enterprise application development, especially in building web applications using advanced AngularJS and React tools. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise-level projects, leveraging innovation in design and development to deliver robust solutions through collaboration and idea sharing.
- Drive solution design and development in collaboration with architecture and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to SDLC (Agile).
- Engage with stakeholders and sponsors to define business processes, scope, and operational requirements.
- Manage and develop multiple teams, overseeing performance, hiring, and adherence to best practices.
- Create strategies to meet business and regulatory objectives systematically and timely.
- Present project updates, including risks and remediation plans, to senior management.
- Collaborate with SMEs to address architecture requirements and provide analytical insights for complex issues.
- Manage all products from design through performance, ensuring compliance with technology standards globally.
- Oversee vendor onboarding, management, and exit strategies within the product portfolio.
- Manage departmental planning, performance, and personnel actions, fostering an environment for SME success.
- Oversee technology budgets and forecasts to meet targets.
- Utilize deep knowledge of Citi's technology landscape and competitors’ products for strategic evaluations.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of UI development experience
- 5+ years leading cross-functional Angular teams
- Deep knowledge of application design, JavaScript, and Angular features
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Successful project management experience
- Knowledge of performance enhancement and exposure to NX is a plus
- Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to adjust priorities quickly
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent; Master’s preferred
