About the Team Our domain management team oversees the full lifecycle of domains through Cloudflare Registrar, facilitating onboarding and management of domains, which is crucial for accessing our other services. Role Overview We seek a Senior UI Systems Engineer to lead the Registrar UI Team. You will manage the core technology behind the Cloudflare Dashboard, pioneering new techniques and setting best practices for UI development, especially transitioning from monolithic applications to Cloudflare's Web Fragments. Responsibilities Lead and mentor the team to develop, migrate, and scale the Cloudflare Registrar UI. Promote best practices for UI development and facilitate their adoption across engineering teams. Enhance UI infrastructure, including CI/CD, observability, and experimentation tools. Collaborate with product and design teams to create cohesive, self-service user experiences. Address cross-cutting concerns to boost developer velocity and code quality. Technologies We Use React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), Remix, PlayWright, Vite, Webpack, CI/CD tools, Go, RESTful APIs Qualifications Deep understanding and obsession with front-end systems. Experience developing new technology for critical systems. Leadership experience managing teams. Self-motivated with ownership of projects from start to finish. Experience coordinating across multiple teams and leading migrations from monolith to modular frameworks is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong leadership, collaboration, and evangelism skills. Experience building and scaling large web applications. Expertise in React.js, TypeScript, and modern front-end development. Bonus Points Experience with Ruby or Go. Experience with Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus. Experience with relational databases like Postgres. Knowledge of DNS and DNSSEC.
