Sr. React UI Front Engineer - Onsite

We are seeking a highly skilled UI Front-End Engineer with expertise in React, Typescript, and CSS. The role involves leadership responsibilities, including planning strategies, and aims to ensure robust and efficient system operations to support our company's mission.

Location: Sunrise, FL - USA (Onsite)

Responsibilities

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js, with full-stack experience preferred.
• Advocating for optimal user experience, including performance, accessibility, and UX standards.
• Building reusable, cross-platform components and front-end libraries.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across various devices and browsers.
• Taking ownership of tasks and ensuring their completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Proficiency with CSS3 and knowledge of accessibility and web standards.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive web design, design systems, and front-end build tools.
• Understanding of React.js core principles and familiarity with ADA compliance.
• Experience with front-end development tools like Babel, Webpack, NPM, yarn, and performance benchmarking.

Salary and Compensation

The annual salary ranges from $81,331 to $114,500, depending on experience and qualifications. The position includes eligibility for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive and stock awards, based on performance and company policies.
