Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; demonstrated experience in public health or health promotion; organizational, leadership, interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to supervise students.
Preferred: Experience with peer education programs, health education, outreach, college health setting; certifications such as CHES, MCHES, or CPH.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate health promotion programs and outreach events.
- Manage program logistics, finances, and data records.
- Supervise and train student staff, including Wellness Ambassadors.
- Engage with students and campus community to promote health initiatives.
- Assist with budget, reporting, and administrative tasks.
Additional Information
This position supports holistic wellness at Colgate, focusing on prevention, psychological well-being, and inclusive outreach. It reports to the Director of Wellness Promotion and collaborates with campus health services. The role involves evening and occasional weekend work, and the position is designated as a Campus Security Authority under the Jeanne Clery Act.
