Who we are looking for:

Cornerstone Capital Bank seeks a skilled Front-End Web Developer to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating responsive, engaging web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with WordPress and/or Umbraco CMS, along with proficiency in PHP or C# for customization, is highly desirable.

Location: Onsite in Galleria Area, Houston, TX

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for responsive, user-friendly websites.


• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to enhance web content and user experience.


• Customize and extend WordPress (PHP) or Umbraco (C#) CMS for various projects, ensuring performance and compatibility.


• Optimize websites for speed and scalability.


• Debug and troubleshoot across browsers and devices.


• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to improve web development practices.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.


• High School Diploma or equivalent required.


• At least 2 years of relevant front-end development experience.


• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.


• Experience with frameworks/libraries like Bootstrap, jQuery.


• Familiarity with WordPress and/or Umbraco CMS.


• Knowledge of PHP (for WordPress) or C# (for Umbraco) is a plus.


• Experience with version control systems like Git.


• Basic understanding of SEO and web accessibility standards.


• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON is preferred.


• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.


• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.
