Cruz Associates Inc. of Yorktown, VA (www.cruzinc.us) has an open position for a Videographer/Graphic Designer at Joint Base Langley Eustis (JBLE), Virginia.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Hands-on experience with digital documentation software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Media Encoder, Avid Media Composer, camera operation, and video editing.
• Ability to document results comprehensively, accurately, and objectively.
• Experience with digital documentation editing, post-processing, and high-end digital editing software.
• Demonstrated professional interest and progress in digital documentation through seminars or coursework.
• Ability to work independently once tasks are understood.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the use of professional and prosumer-grade video cameras and non-linear editing workstations.
• Design graphics for collateral, photography, and video.
• Maintain and update the film/video library.
• Provide digital documentation of project tests locally and remotely, including in-flight support.
• Support ballistic test range documentation for destructive testing.
• Support engine test facilities and special projects as needed.
• Facilitate repair and calibration of digital documentation equipment.
• Enhance technical skills through training and independent study in digital imagery and video inputs/outputs.
• Create digital documentation showcasing customer facilities and capabilities.
• This role may require standing for long hours and working around military aircraft in close quarters.
• Order and safeguard office supplies and equipment.
• Support multiple projects concurrently.
• Develop graphic materials for public release.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

Standard office conditions.

Requirements:

• Security Clearance: Secret (ability to obtain).
• Travel: Estimated 10% within the continental US.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, journalism, TV production, or related field, or 3 years of relevant experience as a substitute.
