Overview ILS Inc. is looking for a Senior UI/UX Developer to support a federal project. The ideal candidate will have good experience in designing and developing user-centered web applications using Angular, possess strong written and oral communication skills, and have good multitasking ability.
Responsibilities Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using industry standard UX design tools such as Sketch or Figma.
Develop reusable UI components and ensure consistency across the application.
Conduct testing of completed applications, websites, and software to assess user experience.
Conduct user research and usability testing to guide design decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and testers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related equivalent.
At least 8 years experience in UI/UX design and development using Angular.
Extensive experience and expertise with Angular framework (Angular 12+), TypeScript, Angular CLI, PrimeNG, HTML 5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Nodejs, RESTful services, Figma /Sketch, and Karma.
Experience with front-end technologies such as RxJS, NgRx, and Sass.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex Angular projects, independent frontend modules, including designing scalable and modular architectures.
Proficiency in building responsive, cross-browser, and cross-platform applications.
Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating back-end services.
Good written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
Preferred:
Familiarity with the concept of micro-frontends and practical experience implementing them in Angular applications.
Experience with AWS.
