We are looking for a Dedicated Store Visual Merchandiser to join our team in our NEW Leawood, KS House of Sport store!

Job Duties & Responsibilities

1. Promote visual merchandising excellence in the assigned store by understanding brand strategies, gameplan integrity, and thoughtful merchandising. Solve merchandising opportunities based on architecture, inventory, selldown, and store-specific floorplans. Make adjustments to maintain strategies and create inspiring presentations.
2. Support the store team with major gameplan sets by understanding merchandising strategies and ensuring game plan integrity. Partner with the store team on new merchandising opportunities as products arrive. Remerchandise products to maximize sales, reacting to trends, weather, and inventory levels.
3. Maintain and present visual displays compellingly and in accordance with company directives. Oversee daily standards of mannequins, forms, displays, and strikepoints. Focus on Head-To-Toe merchandising, outfitting, accessorizing, and trend promotion to build the basket. Use merchandising best practices to maximize space and inventory variability.
4. Collaborate with the Field Visual Merchandiser and provide relevant feedback on store, merchandising, in-store displays, product, and inventory best practices.
5. Conduct weekly store tours with the Store Manager and ASM Apparel, focusing on visual priorities for the week/month. Participate in conference calls with the Field Visual Merchandiser on visual priorities and initiatives.
6. Evaluate store KPIs to make commercial decisions and recommendations based on sound financial judgment to drive sales, margin, and turns.
7. Engage in behaviors aligned with the company's customer service standards to provide athletes with an outstanding store experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Business Management, Retail Management, or Visual Merchandising.
• 1-3 years experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably in softlines.
• Understanding of customer and retail merchandising strategies.
• Strong problem-solving skills based on analytics.
• Ability to be flexible and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines and working independently.
• Strong conflict management and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.

Note: Based on the store location, relevant state-mandated clearances for supervising minors may be required.
