We are seeking a service-oriented Director of the Library to lead all aspects of our single-libraryoperation. This is a unique opportunity for a self-directed professional who enjoys working closely with studentsand faculty, curating a focused collection, and shaping the library as a hub of inquiry and collaboration. TheDirector manages all library operations, supervises a team of student workers, and serves as the primary liaison tofaculty for research and information literacy. This role combines leadership, hands-on service, and strategic planning in an environment where one person can make a meaningful impact on campus culture.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Manage daily operations of the library, including circulation, acquisitions, cataloging, and space
planning.
•Develop and maintain the print and digital collections in collaboration with academic programs.
•Provide individualized reference and research support to students and faculty.
•Design and deliver information literacy instruction and library orientations.
•Recruit, train, and supervise a team of student workers.
•Coordinate interlibrary loan services and vendor relationships.
•Maintain the library website and catalog with basic technical support.
•Collaborate with campus partners to promote a culture of learning, belonging, and accessibility.
•Serve as advocate and strategist for the library in college-wide planning conversations.

•Inclination for arrangement and attention to details.
•Balance in managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
•Patient delight in working with college students.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MLS from an ALA-accredited library school or equivalent.
