What is The Role:
Elastic is seeking a senior B2B tech PR professional to join its Global Communications team to lead US PR. The successful candidate will play an important role in elevating Elastic's brand awareness and affinity with our customers, partners and investors. Ideally, this person is located in or near San Francisco, California.
As a savvy PR pro, you will proactively collaborate with the marketing and solution teams, in addition to the US Public Sector leadership to identify and prioritize communications needs. Your focus will be to build and nurture a strong US PR program to drive interest from media in Elastic and our technology.
What You Will Be Doing:
This leadership role requires an individual who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, demonstrate strategic thinking, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and externally.
The right candidate is exceptional at media relations and storytelling and will possess notable writing skills, strong program management abilities, and the ability to craft integrated communication strategies to drive business results.
You are well-connected with tech and business journalists and can develop cut-through news stories to help frame conversations with relevant media resulting in meaningful coverage in business and industry publications.
In addition, you are passionate about working with internal stakeholders across functions and geographies to ensure alignment within a global marketing team. This position reports to the Senior Director, Global PR.

- Critical thinking skills and a strategic and empathetic leadership style while prepared to learn and grow in a team of communications professionals.
- A strong executive presence and experience establishing positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in international communications leadership, preferably at a high-growth enterprise technology company and/or an agency (10+ years).

The typical starting salary range for this role is:
$160,300—$253,600 USD
The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is:
$192,300—$304,200 USD
