The role of the Key City Visual Merchandiser is to ensure, following the Regional VM Mgr instructions, that the VM standards are consistently maintained to exceed our customers expectations in the designated Key City stores whilst building the VM knowledge, and capability of the store teams in the agreed stores through a program of VM training.
This role reports directly to the RVM Mgr, working in close partnership with the District Mgr and with the Store Managers of the designated Key City Stores. The Key City VM will oversee a limited number of assigned Key Stores within the city/area and will be expected to spend some time in every store as per weekly plan defined upfront together with the RVM Mgr, in alignment with the DM and informing the SM of her/his store, to support the training and implementation of the VM guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the Visual Merchandising presentation is implemented in accordance with the current VM guidelines and marketing directives to deliver brand consistency and improve Visual Merchandising standards in the agreed Key City stores.
Follow, implement, and deliver against the VM strategy set by the EHQ VM team, whilst exploring, testing, and providing feedback on new initiatives and ideas to improve visual presentation in the Foot Locker Key City stores (always in agreement with the RVM Mgr).
Act as the point of contact for VM in the specific Key City, providing VM support on campaign and vendor launches / equipment rollouts / promotional communication and POS management. If requested by the RVM, and in alignment with the DM, support in some of the new store openings and remodels, working closely with the RVM, CX team and marketing if needed.
Follow up every store visit by providing the specific visit report to the RVM Mgr and to the Store management and staff.
Assist in VM-related communication at District level when needed.
Additional related special projects, and specific tasks may also be required based on an ad hoc basis, depending on the needs of the business.
Travel within the city area will be required.
Qualifications:
Relevant working experience (minimum 2 years related VM experience).
Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices.
Proficiency English level.
Capability to work in a matrix environment.
- Kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, using stairs, reaching, pulling and lifting weights of usually 2 14 kilos.
