Job Overview Aperio Global is seeking an Instructional Designer/Trainer to support our contract in Washington DC. The role involves supporting training and user support for the EL-CID Online application, which extensively uses XML. Knowledge of XML is a plus. Responsibilities Learn existing application quickly to train/assist users. Update Online Help, videos, and Training Manual reflecting new functionalities. Participate in an agile team to deliver updates. Create training scripts, training materials, and Computer-Based Training classes. Create webpages for Online Help using HTML or tools like Dreamweaver. Conduct user training sessions and record/edit training videos. Distribute and analyze user surveys, generate reports. Provide user support via helpdesk, create JIRA tickets, and track issues to resolution. Requirements 2+ years of experience in an Agile environment. 3+ years of instructional design experience. Proficiency with web development tools (Dreamweaver or similar). Experience creating/editing training videos with captions. Excellent communication skills. Ability to lead hands-on training sessions. Willingness to learn new products and best practices. Customer service skills handling end-user issues. 3+ years coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript. 2+ years experience with XML. Knowledge of version control systems like SubVersion or GIT. 4+ years writing technical documentation. Active Secret clearance required. Additional Details Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually.
