Job Description
Elevate your Lead Engineering skills in Full Stack/Front End development by working with cutting-edge technology and collaborating with Applied AI engineering at JPMorgan Chase. In this role, you'll coordinate the inference needs of research teams to align with business goals.
As a Lead Software Front End/Full Stack Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Sector - AMDP Platforms, you'll be a key player in an agile team. Your responsibilities include enhancing, developing, and delivering a secure, stable, and scalable AIML Data Platform. You'll contribute technically to the architecture, design, and construction of AI/ML-related Front-End and API capabilities, working with both traditional AI/ML and Generative AI.
Job Responsibilities
- Architect, Design and implement User and Developer Experience capabilities for our AI/ML platform, including inference, training, scheduling, orchestration, and storage.
- Execute creative software solutions, design, develop, and troubleshoot technically with the ability to think beyond routine approaches to build solutions or analyze technical problems.
- Develop secure, high-quality production code, review, and debug code written by others.
- Optimize system performance by identifying and resolving inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
- Develop advanced monitoring and management tools for high reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with product teams to deliver tailored, technology-driven solutions.
- Drive the adoption and execution of ML Platform tools across teams.
- Integrate Generative AI within the ML Platform using state-of-the-art techniques.
- Add to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proven experience with frameworks and libraries including React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with REST APIs, Distributed Systems, Cloud Technologies.
- Experience with Design Systems and pattern libraries.
- Experience developing accessible standards and systems.
- Advanced skills in programming languages such as Java or Spring.
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies like CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
- Proficiency in cloud, AI/ML, mobile, or related technical disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Experience with prompt engineering and working with LLM vendors and models.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systems.
- Cloud certification.
