Position Overview
We are looking for a talented and passionate Lead User Experience Researcher to drive mixed methods and quantitative research that informs investments across UKG’s AI portfolio. You will work with cross-functional partners to identify critical features and experiences that deliver business & customer success. You’ll play a leadership role in the UX Research team and the larger UX organization and report to the head of UX research.
Responsibilities
- Define the research roadmap, execute the strategy and deliver critical insights that move the business forward.
- Conduct research studies using UXR qualitative and quantitative methods, and behavioral/log data analysis that deepen our understanding of the user experience and drive product strategy. Translate complex data and identify strategic opportunities.
- Help build product health measurement programs, platforms and reporting mechanisms to scale growing organizational needs.
- Be product opinionated, leveraging deep user, market, and competitor understanding to influence product strategy and user experience design.
- Be a champion for a customer- and data-focused culture in UKG.
- Raise the methodological bar within the User Research team and mentor other team members.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant research experience, working on digital experiences and generating actionable insights that drive meaningful business and user impact.
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Mastery in qualitative & quantitative methods, with demonstrated experience using them to solve strategic challenges.
- Can conduct complex quantitative research at scale and demonstrate the use of a variety of research methods (longitudinal programs, A/B testing, trigger-based automated surveys, conjoint, and discrete choice modeling).
- Experience with quantitative research tools (e.g., Qualtrics, R, SPSS). Familiarity with usage analytics tools (e.g., Pendo) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative and practical research approaches to complex design problems.
- Can distill research findings into clear, and compelling data-backed presentations, data visualizations, and/or infographics.
- Experience with Enterprise software applications highly preferred.
