Must be Highly Qualified: Applicants must meet at least one of the following qualifications:

• Passed the Praxis Test for Para-Professionals or agree to take the test and receive a passing score
• 48 hours of successful college coursework - upload your college transcript
• An Associate's Degree or higher - upload your college transcript

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist students in locating reference and instructional materials.
2. Reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, and media skills.
3. Maintain circulation desk operations.
4. Work with students individually and in small groups.
5. Operate audiovisual equipment as needed.
6. Assist in cataloging and filing learning materials.
7. Construct, copy, and distribute educational materials.

Equipment and Communication

• Assist in maintaining instructional and non-instructional equipment.
• Use standard office equipment such as computers and copiers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of college coursework or passing relevant examinations.
• Prior experience working with children is desirable.
