JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS
The Pennsylvania State University is seeking to hire a Library Support position.
The Information Assistant provides research and reference assistance to library users, focusing on Microforms and Government Information. This public service role involves assisting walk-up, telephone, and remote library users, with training in Microforms and Government Information resources. Responsibilities include supporting research needs, assisting with library databases and electronic services, advising on policies, troubleshooting equipment, opening and closing the library, greeting patrons, participating in training, attending meetings, and supporting projects.
This position is based at the University Park campus and requires dependability and punctuality. A resume and cover letter are required for consideration.
