About The Job
At Louis Vuitton, as a Visual Merchandising Director, you will be an ambassador of the Brand and ensure the consistency, quality, and sophistication of the visual merchandising implementation across all product categories throughout the Region.
You will support the business strategy and enhance the Client experience in-store through guidance and direction to the Regional VM teams. This role requires regular project updates and is expected to be executive-facing with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Communicate VM Guidelines to LV Americas VM teams; directives from Paris or LV Americas generated directives. Communicate with Regional VM teams on their visual work.
- Provide daily feedback on photos shared from key doors; offer feedback to Regional VM Directors on doors outside of the top 20.
- Maintain master knowledge of all product categories.
- Collaborate with Merchandisers to ensure key investments, business drivers, and sell-through targets are considered and integrated into VM. Create visually compelling communication tools, including project recaps, VM directives, and photo reports for Zone teams and the Paris global team.
- Travel to oversee key retail events and visual installations, or to execute visual presentations.
- Partner with Regional VM Directors on planning store openings, renovations, and high-profile projects, ensuring all are prepared and vetted prior to execution. Leverage visual merchandising to drive sales.
- Act as a role model and ambassador for Regional and Store teams, demonstrating leadership and enthusiasm.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of VM on corporate presentations and updates for the executive team and key partners.
- Provide coaching and guidance to the visual team to achieve visual excellence.
- Set visual expectations and proactively manage performance.
- Maintain Louis Vuitton Brand standards in grooming and behavior; follow company policies.

Profile
- 8-10 years of experience with an Architectural Design degree or relevant background.
- Experience with RTW and accessories.
- Experience with window installations.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
- Team player with excellent communication skills, both locally and with Paris.
- Self-starter with the ability to organize teams pre-launch.
- Consistently compile store photos and recaps for Paris.
- Identify impactful display opportunities for large-scale rollouts.
- Availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
The salary range is USD $160,000-190,000, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability coverage, paid time off, employee discounts, and retirement plans.
The position requires 4 days per week onsite at the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office in Midtown Manhattan.
