Job Description This is a temporary position. Senior Prototype Engineer (R&D), AI Studio at Marriott Position Overview Ship concept-to-click demos in a single sprint. Your prototypes de-risk business ideas, showcase
agentic enablement , and feed future production backlogs. Key Responsibilities Rapidly build PoCs with LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI/Autogen, or in-house frameworks. Orchestrate demos with MCP servers to simulate multi-agent negotiations (availability, pricing, guest services). Spin up wizard-of-oz voice, chat, or AR experiences; instrument NPS and clickstream analytics. Log prompts/responses; annotate hallucinations for future fine-tuning datasets. Produce concise README and hand-off kits for the Delivery team to industrialize winning prototypes. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in building PoCs with AI frameworks and creating interactive experiences. Portfolio of week-long prototypes (links, GIFs, or repo PRs required). Deep prompt-craft and chain-of-thought debugging skills. Comfortable live-coding from a blank editor and articulating business impact. Familiar with lightweight guardrails, cost profiling, and autonomous-agent orchestration. Preferred Skills Experience running guest pilots or A/B tests in hospitality or travel tech. Knowledge of generative voice synthesis or multimodal UX libraries. The pay range for this position is $47.35 to $84.09 per hour. Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and are eligible to receive a minimum of 9 holidays annually.
