Working in concert with our Engineering Manager and operations staff, the audio visual Production Engineer we select will have overall responsibility for developing engineering drawing packages, including elevations and line drawings for assigned AV projects. This advanced technical position within the audio visual department is ideal for candidates with 6+ years of experience in the audio visual industry, including system integration and commissioning.

The candidate should demonstrate respect for diverse points of view, be self-motivated, and strive for an inclusive environment that drives productivity and results. The key requirements include:

1. 6+ years of experience in the audio visual industry
2. 2+ years with system commissioning
3. 2+ years with system integration
4. Self-motivated with multitasking skills
5. Strong computer, organizational, communication, and troubleshooting skills
6. Knowledge of rack fabrication and cable terminations
7. Ability to read and create cabling pull schedules, floor plans, ceiling plans, riser diagrams, and line diagrams
8. Knowledge of signal flow, AV signal types, connector types, and terminations
9. Experience with control/automation systems such as Crestron, AMX, QSC, and Extron
10. Experience with audio DSPs like QSC, Biamp, and Clearone
11. Understanding of digital video/audio transmission protocols
12. Networking knowledge relevant to AV
13. Proficiency in AutoCAD

Additional desirable skills include:

1. Technical college certificates or degrees
2. Industry certifications (Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, QSC, etc.)
3. Audio/video production knowledge
4. Programming and UI development experience
