Job Summary/Description:
Gray Digital Media and WEAU 13 News are seeking a sales professional for the Media Executive position. The role involves developing and selling creative marketing solutions using digital advertising and broadcast solutions. The ideal candidate should be able to strategize, negotiate multi-platform marketing projects, and work independently to meet revenue goals. This is a fully remote position offering a base salary, benefits, PTO, and a commission structure for growth.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Research and contact new businesses daily to build a prospect pipeline.
- Analyze client needs to develop effective advertising strategies.
- Prepare and present multi-platform advertising solutions, showcasing digital and broadcast products.
- Collaborate internally to develop creative ad ideas.
- Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing to maximize ROI and build long-term relationships.
- Use sales software accurately for order entry, tracking, and proposals.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 1-3 years sales or business development experience; media or marketing background preferred but training available.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop campaigns and motivate others.
- Desire to understand client businesses.
- Interest in ongoing learning about advertising, marketing, TV, and digital media.
- Experience with digital products like targeted display/video, social media, email, streaming TV, SEM, SEO.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and MS Office.
- Must meet Gray Television driving requirements and hold a valid driver's license.
