Your Role
As a Visual Stylist, you collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to craft the store's look and feel. Under the guidance of the Visual Lead, you deliver exceptional customer experiences and bring the Neiman Marcus brand and fashion to life through storytelling via window displays and in-store activations.
What You'll Do
Brand Standards
- Adhere to NMG and partner brand standards within the store.
- Ensure store experience aligns with NMG corporate programs.
- Implement strategies delegated by the Visual Lead, such as holiday storytelling.
Windows & In-Store Activations
- Interpret Neiman Marcus direction and current trends for in-store presentation.
- Assist in merchandising the selling floor, including fixture placement and trend presentation.
- Create engaging environments that showcase luxury and make it personal and magical.
- Understand how visual activities influence sales.
- Maintain visual elements like signage, mannequins, and floral displays in line with brand strategy.
Meetings / Calendars / Budgets
- Participate in meetings to stay updated on visual merchandising plans.
Communication & Events
- Communicate needs and feedback to managers.
- Collaborate on event strategies and preparations.
Miscellaneous
- Maintain a safe and organized visual work environment.
What You Bring
- At least 1 year of visual merchandising experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Motivated with a team-oriented mindset.
- Interest in fashion and trends.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and possibly InDesign or Revit.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 35 pounds.
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
