Position Description Oberweis Dairy is seeking a passionate Web Developer with experience in architecting enterprise solutions and developing web strategies. The role involves reviewing and contributing to solution designs, defining technical requirements, and working in a high-energy, collaborative environment. Effective communication skills are essential for liaising with both technical and non-technical staff. General Responsibilities Design and develop web applications using the .NET framework (2.0, 3.5, 4.0), particularly ASP.NET. Develop and maintain MSSQL Server 2019/2022 databases. Troubleshoot, optimize, and tune applications and data layers. Identify issues, recommend, and implement solutions. Collaborate with business owners to gather requirements. Ensure at least 3-5 years of full software development lifecycle experience. Have 3-5 years of MSSQL Server database development experience, including stored procedures, functions, and query optimization. Possess excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend improvements. Work effectively with others and possess good interpersonal skills. Work independently with minimal supervision. Communicate effectively across all organizational levels and translate needs into high-level designs. Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Additional "Nice to Have" Skills Experience with HTML5. MS Power BI integration. Experience with AS/400 or related iSeries and DB2. Programming in PHP. Experience with WordPress.
