Occupational Summary
Objective: The Communication & Engagement Coordinator supports the development and delivery of internal and external communications and employee engagement initiatives across Safran Seats locations in Gainesville, TX. This role involves content creation, communication logistics, event coordination, and execution of engagement programs aligned with company values and strategic goals. It reports directly to the Communication & Engagement Specialist and works closely with Human Resources Business Partners and various Safran Seats USA Business Units.
Qualifications Requirements
- Education & Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field, or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional communications role.
- Professional Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented, organized, proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with social media and digital tools, experience with video production, team-oriented, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Behavioral Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, adapt quickly, and work effectively with international stakeholders and diverse cultures.
- Desirable: Fluency in English.
