JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The College/Unit of [Penn State All-Sports Museum] is seeking applicants for a part-time Exhibit Designer.
- Collaborate with the curator, director, and other departments on all phases of exhibit design, including scheduling and budget monitoring.
- Manage Penn State athletic team's digital signage.
Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:
- 3-5 years of experience in exhibit design or a related field.
- Creative thinking that results in innovative design solutions.
- Experience with exhibit design in a museum setting.
- Understanding of materials, components, and fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of CAD and file management.
Schedule:
- [10 to 20 hours per week]
Compensation:
The starting rate for this job is $[20].
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. You must operate a motor vehicle as part of your duties; a valid driver's license and successful motor vehicle records check are required.
