About the Role

We are seeking an innovative Product Web Developer Engineer to spearhead the design and execution of our primary user-facing product experiences—interfaces that integrate real-time model capabilities with complex, high-impact workflows.

Your role will extend beyond merely utilizing APIs or refining views; you will create systems that transform model outputs into actionable intelligence: structured, user-centric interfaces that evolve with user demands and model developments.

Currently, we are focusing on building coding and planning tools for high-agency users, including engineers, researchers, and designers who are pushing the boundaries of AI capabilities. You'll play a key role in shaping the experience layer that enables this innovation.

What You'll Own

• Design and implement real-time, complex product interfaces
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure and model teams to optimize how capabilities are presented in the UI
• Create interaction patterns that transparently express system constraints
• Quickly translate ambiguous user requirements and design concepts into fast, functional, production-quality UX
• Prototype, test, and iterate swiftly across workflows, models, and tools
• Contribute to defining the evolution of Noumena's tools based on user interaction, training, and model advancements

You May Be a Good Fit If You:

• Possess extensive experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and dynamic UI architectures
• Excel in initiating products in environments where the interaction layer is key to innovation
• Have developed tools for developers, productivity platforms, or exploratory user interfaces
• Think in systems rather than just individual views or states, with a focus on long-term maintainability
• Can balance product requirements, design, and technical implementation effectively
• Prioritize speed, clarity, and interaction flow over surface-level styling

Strong Candidates May Also Have Experience With:

• Working across the technology stack in TypeScript, Python, or Rust
• Creating editors, interactive tools, or structured/sandboxed user interfaces
• Experience with real-time systems (e.g., token streaming, multi-threaded workflows)
• Designing for data-intensive, technical, or industry-specific user groups
• Modeling feedback loops between user interactions and system behaviors
