Responsibilities include:
- Managing and leading the property team in daily operations, maintaining an engaging presence.
- Establishing maintenance and team schedules, ensuring accountability and performance.
- Coaching and developing the team to foster an inclusive, welcoming workplace.
- Managing budgets, accounts, rent collections, and tenant notices using appropriate software.
- Reviewing applications, background, and credit checks, ensuring compliance with procedures.
- Conducting administrative tasks such as file audits and tax filings.
- Reporting escalated issues to the Asset Director.
- Preparing client reports for review, ensuring documentation is complete.
- Communicating variances, concerns, and positive updates effectively and promptly.
- Enforcing policies for lease agreements and resident recertifications.
- Greeting residents and applicants courteously.
- Responding promptly to resident questions, concerns, and complaints.
- Inspecting property conditions and coordinating maintenance to ensure compliance and curb appeal.
- Investigating complaints and resolving conflicts.
- Securing the property and responding to emergencies with proper documentation.
- Ensuring all activities comply with ethical standards and company policies.
- Performing other tasks as assigned.
Ideal candidate background includes:
- High energy and a positive attitude to foster a great atmosphere.
- Financial skills to manage budgets, accounts, and rent collections.
- Professional image and strong leadership skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with experience in property management, hospitality, retail, etc.
- At least 2 years of multi-family leasing management experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent scheduling and prioritization abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and property management software.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
