Scenic Project Manager/Technical Director

Qualifications: Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in theatrical technical direction, scenic production management, or live event project management, with a focus on scenic construction. Experience managing scenic projects and directing technical, financial, and administrative processes is essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and executing event and entertainment projects across various markets, including corporate events, trade shows, theatrical productions, concerts, sports, political events, and live TV/film.
- Managing client relationships and providing tailored project services.
- Determining product/gear, construction, and operational plans.
- Preparing scope of work, budgets, schedules, and design layouts.
- Managing shows with budgets up to $4 million.
- On-site production management and labor oversight.
- Collaborating with sales, operations, and other departments.
- Identifying future revenue opportunities and promoting client relationships.
- Ensuring safety standards and promoting a safety-conscious environment.
- Travel at least 50% is required.
Qualifications:
- BA degree or relevant experience in business administration, hospitality, operations, or related fields.
- Minimum 4 years of project management experience in relevant markets.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Vectorworks or AutoCAD.
- OSHA 30 certification.
The salary range is estimated between $80,000 and $95,000, complemented by health benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan. PRG is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to safety and compliance, including drug screening and E-Verify participation.
